The Lunar Society Trail.....I have been saying for more years than I care to remember that #Birmingham should make more of The Lunar Men and their contribution to the creation of the modern world. Glad to see History West Midlands share my view with this excellent film. I would like to see Birmingham celebrate The Lunar Men with a Lunar Men Museum in Birmingham City Centre at either the former Birmingham Municipal Bank building at 301 Broad Street where the statue of Boulton, Watt and Murdoch is or around the corner at the Gas Retort House in Gas Street. My idea for this won the runners up prize in the recent Birmingham Civic Society 'Re-Imagine' competition for Birmingham's 'at-risk' buildings
