welovebearwood: Jubilant Julie: The BAFTAs are on our TV screens tonight and Bearwood's very own Julie Walters has been awarded the Academy's highest honour, a Fellowship of BAFTA, founded by local Birmingham George Dixon Grammar School boy Sir Michael Balcon, who also inaugurated the BFI, The British Film Institute........Well done Julie.....you have certainly come a long way from Bishopton Road, Bearwood and Holly Lodge Girls Grammar School in Smethwick.......
